| A meeting under Mission III was held under the Chairmanship of Dr. Prabhas Pande, Dy. DG, IT, GSI, CHQ, Kolkata on 15.05.2010 at Lucknow for discussing the creation of Unified Legend, colour scheme for different lithological, Super Group, Group, Formations and Members, unique Ids for each lithounit in chronological order for 50K Geological maps compiled and digitised in the Regions. A draft Unified Legend has been prepared and comments / suggestion / feedback are solicited from all interested persons, specifically from geoscientists who are associated with Geoinformatics Project in GSI. | |
